AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCES

Las oraciones afirmativas en pasado simple, son más sencillas que las de presente simple, ya que no tendremos que ponerles cuidado a las terceras personas para hacerlas correctamente.

The affirmative sentences in simple past are easier than the sentences in simple present, because we don’t have to pay attention to the third person to make them right.

Lo único que tenemos que hacer es cambiar el verbo a pasado y ya.

The only thing we have to do is put the verb in past and it’s done.

Al igual que en el español, cuando queremos crear una oración en pasado, debemos usar un sujeto un verbo y un complemento. Pero como hablamos de pasado será en pasado el verbo.

Just like in Spanish, when we want to create a sentence in simple past, we must use a subject a verb and a complement. But because we are talking about past the verb would go in past.

Ahora bien, hay algo importante que tenemos que tener en cuenta para la creación de oraciones afirmativas en pasado y es el VERBO.

Well then, there is something important that we must take in to account to create the affirmative sentences in simple past and it is the verb.

Hay dos grandes clases de verbos en ingles.

There are two big kinds of verbs.

Los verbos regulares y los irregulares. Y tenemos que tener en cuenta esto, ya que la forma de convertir los verbos en pasado cambia de regulares a irregulares. Pero eso lo veremos en otro blog.

The regular and the irregular verbs. And we have to take this in to account because the way we change verbs to past, is different from regular and irregular. But we’ll see that in other blog.
